Thank you for taking time out of your life to come to camp for the week. We really appreciate the work you put in to help us. You were a great cook and I’m glad that you were in the kitchen because the food was great.
At camp I really liked cooking our own meal night. The food was really good and it was easier than I thought to cook and it tasted even better than I thought it would too. I really liked the dessert because even though I felt like I ate enough ice cream to fill an elephant it tasted so good.
An activity I really liked was high ropes, especially the vertical playpen.I think that I liked this because it like climbing stuff and I was happy that I got to the top. I also got to the top of the rock wall and I was proud of my self for that too, especially since I climbed over the bump.
I found kayaking challenging because I had the kayak that goes out of control randomly. Apart from that I liked kayaking, mainly the part where we rafted up, other than that I fell into the river and got soaked.
Another activity that I enjoyed was raft making. Even though my group wasn’t very good at it I still liked it because it was fun failing at trying to go fast down the river. Our raft stayed together quite well but we were just slow.
Thanks again for everything that you did to help us at camp and make the experience possible, I wish that I was still there!
Yours Sincerely, Rose McLean rm41

Dear Mrs Fairweather
Thank you for coming on camp and making our awesome trip possible. I really appreciate it because you were a great help and you took time out of your life to help us. It was good having you belaying on the centipede because you encouraged me a lot and on the first time I went up told me where to put my feet and it was just overall helpful.

Thank you so much for letting us use the gold mine information facility it was a great opportunity for us to learn outside of school in a more interesting was. We understand that it was a very large group of kids that came through the mine and you gave up a lot of time to check our answers.
One of the other activities we did that was going diving, even though I had no air most of the time because it didn’t get turned on it was still enjoyable, especially when the air did get turned on. Another thing I liked was was going to Te Puia. It was a lot of fun but I would have liked to be there for longer and be able to look around the place more it would have been better. I enjoyed seeing all the different bubbling mud pools through out the place.
Lots of the activities that we did I found challenging, especially the Red Woods orienteering because in this activity we had to work out where everything on the map was in relation to the actual place, and mark off the letters and numbers on the sheet we were given. Also, the things that we had to find were small and often hidden off to the side of the track.
Thank you again for helping us with our amazing race
Thank you for using your time to help us at the Amazing Race. It was very much appreciated and the race would never have been able to happen without your help.

Lots of the activities I found challenging, but having to work well with my team was something that we had to do no matter what the challenge was. Most of the time I think we worked well as a group and we got all the challenges done. One of the activities I found really hard was the Red Woods orienteering because we had to work out where everything on the map was in relation to the actual place, but in the end we found all the stuff and got to move on.
